Yeah EA has oversee, but they can't change the game because you are the developer. This isn't really a flaw, if anything this would help your game get noticed faster because of the EA branding. EA can't change the game without your knowing and permission.

as a gamedev personally, I would press it, and then do what respawn did and refuse to add a pay to win model to my games by an ultimatum.
